Well, I just was able to finish this pot late last night. I wanted to make a 3D quilled pot since I haven't in such a long time. I noticed in my container full of strips that I had a lot of these really thick strips that I never used, so I used like 19 of them, so this pot is rather big. I actually brought it to school yesterday since there were some classes I know I wasn't doing anything in (like my 'fun classes' since I am now on a four day weekend). Anyway, I had time to do it in a few classes and in one of them a girl liked it so much she offered 15 dollars for it finished, and how could I refuse that? Get money for my hobby? Sure it's not that much considering how long it takes me, but how much should I expect a freshmen to pay? Anyway, to me it just feels like someone is paying me to do something I would do anyway. I wish my job was this fun!
lovely flowers and pot,really like the pink flower on the left!. Thats great that you sold it. We do tend to sell our work for less than what it's really worth,specially the time thats put into it, but its worth the pleaser of knowing others love our work and we can atleast replace our supplies to make more. Glad your still quilling!!
