On another note, today I looked up "3D quilled characters" and to my surprise, I saw that 3 of my 4 quilled ladies was on the first page! And for just 3D quilling, they weren't on the first page but they were there! Ha ha, I'm not lying here's proof.
What is this blog?
This blog is about my crafts as I'm sure it's obvious, but rather specifically I post about my quilling. I suppose I didn't include quilling in the title simply because that would limit what I could put in this blog. In other words, 99% of this is in fact quilling.
There ARE periods where I don't post anything for a long time, but that doesn't mean I'm done with quilling! I'll post again. Eventually.

1 *and a half* Angels!
So I finally have something completed! I finished the first angel a while ago, but I wanted to post all 3 angels together in one post! Unfortuanatly, they each take FOREVER to make since they're so big. I got the directions to make them from the 3D quilled characters book. I did change the hair from the directions for it. I never make my ladies with straight hair! I believe I've said this before: to me...they just never look right with straight hair! I also switched up the decorations on their dresses (it has to be unique somehow!) and I did make the gloves for them...but they looked really messed up, seriously. So...I just took them off, I think they look better handless. Consider that they're dresses have VERY long sleeves and they're burried under the dress. Their dresses are multicolored, yes. I wanted to make them all white...but, since they're so large, they required VERY thick strips. I believe it was 5/8 inch thick-gigantic. So I looked high and low on the internet for strips that thick...the only pack there was was multicolored, so I had just enough strips for the dress to have 3 different shades. The blue lady doesn't have wings yet as you can see. I had extra gold strips and I thought they would be enough. I made half of her wings, and I need like 6 more strips...so I'll have to order those later. So little strips I need, yet I must order them! You can see how large they are compared to my quilling tool in the first pic. These 3D quilled ladies each took SO long, but it was worth it. They're a nice decoration :) (as long as they're kept away from the cat, LOL).
